Is It Time To Go Back Yet!?

So sitting here with the 10 yr old that I watch, we are listening to "Welcome To Florida" by Spokesmayne and trying to figure out how recreate these shoes, because I don't want to pay full price for them and I bought similar style shoes today at Target for like 17 dollars! WOO!

SO anyway! I was thinking that I haven't blogged in a while. So I figured I would share with whoever is reading this my amazing trip to Disney!! =]

~This May Take a While~
~I'm going all sorts of legit, pics and all!~

So, we left Sunday December 11 on an early evening flight out of St. Louis. I was so nervous because I haven't flown very much, and I was getting on a plane to go to Disney, and I had been talking about going back for a year and a half.   But my boyfriend was there to calm me down.  I was also slightly angry, we had to stop and change planes in ATL. WAS NOT HAPPY! We had booked a nonstop flight to Orlando, and they changed it on us.  GAH! Not happy! Anyway, we got into Orlando at about 10 pm and after our Magical Express ride, to the resort at 11 ish. Jon and I were so excited to finally be there!  So we ordered a pizza from room service and went to bed.  We had a looongg week ahead! ;)

In the morning, we ventured out into "The World".  We got breakfast at the resort (we were staying at All-Start Music), and went out to catch the bus to Magic Kingdom, of course!  We left pretty early because I wanted to get there before the park opened (or at least close to opening), well close it was.  But I was so excited! And only having been at peak season in the middle of the summer, we were AMAZED at how small the crowds were! So we did all we wanted in the park at the time and were done by 10! HOLY COW! On to EPCOT!

So once again, we went through the parks so quickly because the crowds were so small.  Small crowds= short lines= GOING THROUGH THE PARKS QUICK!

Since we were going through the parks so quickly and we were running out of things to do, we didn't feel the need to rush like both of us were used to.  During the summer, we were running (literally, RUNNING) everywhere to try to get our fix in of everything that we wanted to do.  Trying to get just one more Space Mountain or one more Test Track! ... And we were there for two weeks! So being there for one week and being done with the essentials in two days felt a bit odd.  But we were in wearing shorts in the middle of December... we didn't mind! ;)

It was such a fun experience, this was our first big trip together.  I mean last year, we went to Chicago via train for a couple of days, which we thought then was a big trip.  We had no idea what we would be doing a year and a half later. And even now, never know what the future will bring, we both want to go to Europe so bad! I want to go for like a month, just jump around from country to country...  ahhh sounds so nice! And I have a friend in England so she could show us the ropes! Oh gosh, I'm rambling again!! OH WELL! Nobody is going to read this anyway!! ;)

I learned a couple things from this trip... One; Go during the off season between Thanksgiving and Christmas, it's cheaper and WAY less people! and Two; I have found out that with Jon and I, it is better to go to WDW with a group.  He enjoys rides that I can't go on (the curse of motion sickness) and I felt bad that he didn't get to go on some of his favorites.  Tower of Terror, Rockin Rollercoaster, Mount Everest, etc. So when we went with his family over the summer, he at least had his little brothers to enjoy it with.  He said it was ok that I didn't want to go on them and he would rather not have gone on them at all if he had to do single rider... which was a total LIE! He lives for those rides and didn't get a chance to go on them. So next time we shall go with a couple of friends or family!

Welp,  I think that's enough typing for one night!!

See ya real soon!!

Disney's Magical Express!!

So in the mail today, I got a little surprise!  And when I saw it, I pretty much freaked out and jumped around at my mailbox.. and I live on a busy street so I'm pretty sure I got some weird looks! ;)  So then I ran inside to open it, considering I wasn't expecting it until the end of the week! YAY! :)  So, now I have all new stuff to look at!! So excited! Although we won't be able to use the Luggage Service on the way down, we should be able to on the way back, and it's just so exciting to get the luggage tags and everything.  Disney truly does think of everything, from what I understand the Orlando airport is very easy to maneuver, yet I was still scared.  And in this packet, they have a map of the airport and and what airlines get in what terminal and the path to take to get to the Magical Express.  I freaking love Disney! =D

Everything Is Booked!

Ok.. so last time.. we just had the room booked, well... within the week we also got MVMCP (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) tickets and plane tickets! =D  MICKEY HERE WE COME!!! =] It's so exciting.. this only being my second time 'home' and our first real trip together AND the first trip either one of us really booked on our own! The MVMCP tickets were Christmas presents from my mom so we didn't have to pay for those, but the whole time I was showing and explaining the trip and payment and everything to her.. she kept praising me, "WOW Lizz, this is amazing!" "Oh my gosh Lizz, you really DO know what your talking about" "CAN I COME!?" lol, my family really doesn't understand the infatuation with my love of Disney, but they are starting to tolerate it! THANK GOD! I was really getting tired of them rolling their eyes every time I mentioned FLORIDA! That's how bad they got... When the weather was really hot, I said something like, "You think it's hot here? Imagine what it's like in Florida!' and mom said, "Jeeze, Lizz, not everything is about Disney!!" ...ok.. one! I was talking about FLORIDA! and TWO! I said NOTHING about Disney! They just assume so much and it's making me angry because, yes, I'm only 19... but I'm 19... I'm not 12 anymore and I think since I'm the youngest, they are having a hard time realizing that! I'm just happy they let us do this trip, and honestly.. my money.. I'm an 'adult' and I can do what ever the EFF I want! I am so excited... I just keep picturing walking down Mainstreet USA with Jon and everything being so beautiful and decorated for the holidays... everything will just be perfect! Me..Him... Disney ... Christmas.... Simply amazing!  We already wrote out what we were going to do on what days! =\ and we still have 96 days... I'm surprised I haven't started packing yet! lol Nah, I'll probably start packing when our Disney's Magical Express luggage tags get here.. a month before the trip! lol ~Side Note~ This blog is starting to sound like my journal! Whoops, Ramble Ramble Ramble!!!~ And to make things better, the weather has finally started to change for the colder and it makes me so happy knowing that the weather NOW will be like the weather in Disney THEN! =] I keep thinking about what kind of clothes to pack.. I guess a little bit of everything right? 2 shorts, 2 jeans, 2 tees, 2 sweaters, 1 jacket, a pair of flops, a pair of tennies, a pair of uggs (for the late night MVMCP!), gloves?, hat?. so.. these are the things that go through my head now, not work.. not school.. not my family.. not my niece... not my boyfriend, ok well I think about him a lot.. so that's a lie! And another thing I'm SUPER excited for is seeing Neil Patrick Harris in EPCOT when he's announcing the Candlelight processional! AHHHH! I love him! He has an AMAZING voice and he's just.. ya!

So I think that's about it! =]

See ya real soon!

My day....

Well it's official folks... WE BOOKED IT!! Ah!! I'm so excited! We are actually going to Disney World December 11-18!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, this past Thursday, the 25th of August, my boyfriend, Jon, came into town to go out of town with my family to an antique car show we go to every year. I was so excited to see him, it was the first time I've seen him since he left for school. And today he left again.  So this morning I was a bit down knowing he had to leave, so we were sitting there just watching tv and he says, "hey, what would you say if we booked Disney today?"  and I just looked at him...and long story short... after clicking "continue" and seeing "congratulations on booking your trip" I cried for about 10 minutes! =] I was so excited!! We still have to pay the rest and book the flight but the important thing is...WE HAVE A ROOM!!! AHHHHHh I have been thinking about it all day! it's crazy! We've been talking about these plans for about a year, it's so weird to actually have money down!! =]

yes there were still tears when his train pulled out of the station, but in the long run, he's mine.. forever.. and as long as we shall live, we will be taking trips to Disney world.  At first, just us.. then with our kids.. and then grandkids! =] I cannot wait for our lives to start!

I love him!!

Nothing better than watching the
castle change colors and then fireworks!

Can't wait for it to be just me and him again
in the happiest place on Earth!

It's happening!!! Disney at Christmas!!!

Wow, it has been forever since a new post! Well here it is, 3 in the morning and I get the urge to write.  Typical. Any whoser... just talking to the boyfriend and we are discussing getting an apartment this coming spring/summer! EEP so exciting!! And to top it off... I finally got a job, so that means Disney is on and we just have to wait to book!! =D And some how, Jedi mind trick I'm thinking, he convinced me to DRIVE down there... ya, 17 hours baby! Just me and him .. in his Jag.. yes, he might be the only 19 yr old ever who has a Jag! But this means I GET TO DRIVE THE JAG!! =DDD  But driving down cuts back the cost SIGNIFICANTLY!! even if I do have to be in a car for 17 hours... again! =] but the 7 days from December 12-18 with totally be worth it! =]

I'm so excited and totally in love with this boy it's stupid.. Can't wait to start our lives together.. which apparently might be happening sooner than expected... it will be interesting to see how the parents are with this.. we are only Sophmores in college after all. hmm.. keep em crossed for us folks.

So yeah, nothing really, if you live or visit Disney in December please comment... I don't know why but I am so freaking out about the weather.  Like seriously... I'm spazzing.. I don't know what to pack.. and for heavens sake, we still have 124 day! Oh Lord save me!  Jon.. keep me grounded please! I'm going to need your love to keep me from having a over-excitement heart attack! YIKES!!  I love you sweetie! MWAH!

Waiting for the bus in Downtown Disney

Well that's all for now folks!
See ya real soon! °o°

Peace, Love, Mickey

Alright, so like I said, I don't have anything really to write about.. I just felt like something needed to be said about my Disney obsession which has over come me completely and needs to die down because it truly is taking over my life and it's the only thing I am thinking about.  Driving home today, I was singing "Welcome Medley", windows wide open belting it at the top of my lungs... almost forgot I was driving!! Whoops! I need a job, seriously, it's bad. I know it's been said, "no such thing as too much of a good thing", well I can't believe I'm saying this, but....TOO MUCH DISNEY IN MY LIFE! Wow, that almost hurt to say.... so strike that.  There is such a thing as too much of a good thing... but not too much of Disney! Just not possible.

I was watching "4 Weddings" today, and one of the brides was 19 and the groom was 18. You could totally tell that they were absolutely in love and that they had found "the one".  It got me thinking... I'm 19.. I've found the love of my life, and I can't wait to marry him!  He is going through a stressful time right now and he said to me "I just need to hold you in my arms" and I simply replied, "I know babe.  You  can have me for the rest of your life.  We will have a beautiful magical fairy tale wedding and you can spend the rest of your life with your best friend wife. I love you". He knew right away what I meant and knew that everything would be ok.

So, no, such thing as too much Disney.  It's not possible.  Even in the most serious situations, it can make everything better.  Yes, sometimes when one of us are in a bad mood the other will say "One little spark..." and let the other finish, which makes us both feel better.  Disney is the best medicine... plain and simple.

Oope, and there's good ol' Walter Cronkite taking me through time of communication!

Flying South For The Winter?

So, as some of you may know....I and my boyfriend have considered going to WDW for Christmas! I'm so excited! I would like some advice? Please share your experience.  I can only imagine that the magic of Disney is times 10!! So please.  Just give me a word of the wise... even if not.. please.. anything you want to share.. even if it's not about Christmas, I just need someone to talk Disney about!! =]]
